Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome Review

1. Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome was co-directed by George Miller and George Ogilvie. George Miller also directed all the other Mad Max's as well as the Twilight Zone movie segment "Nightmare at 20,000 Feet" which is a personal favorite of mine. George Ogilvie directed The Crossing where Russell Crowe was first seen on screen.

2. What I liked artistically about this movie was the character and costume design. The tribal and wacky feel of the costume design added a level of comedy to the film to take away from the grungy serious tone the movie otherwise has. Doing this caricaturized the idea of a post apocalyptic world which added a sense of lightheartedness to an otherwise grim setting.

3. Master-Blaster runs the energy through Bartertown, but Aunty Entity is the one who unifies Bartertown's Civilians.
